Update pre-existing entries for: calendar shows the organizer's name instead of the subject RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We have a law firm using a shared calendar in office 365 named "Case Calendar" and all the entries were showing up with organizers name vs the subject of the event. We addressed this using this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/calendars/calendar-shows-organizer-name

Fortunately, it resolved all new entries, however, the client is wondering if we can systematically change all pre-existing entries on the calendar as the PowerShell change we made from that article did not process the existing events.

Any advice if this is possible would be wonderful.

-Powershell beginner, thank you for any help.

  • Hi Mike,

As far as I know, there is no such an Exchange Powershell to change the subject in bulk. We can manually change the subject.

Besides, you are familiar with code, you can also try this forum:

    Thanks for your understanding.
