Hi,

I have created a bunch of reports in development environment with connection string inbuilt to each report.This approach, I have to change connection string in all the rdl files if I need to move them to production. How can i create shared connection for all the reports? If i change connection string in one place should reflect the all reports.

Please reply!

First, it’s a SQL issue, I suggest you to create a new thread in the SQL forum:

Second, you can try to pass the connection string in the parameters as following:

="data source=" & Parameters!Server.Value & ";initial catalog=" & Parameters!Database.Value
