  • Error code for Windows updates 80070714. Haven't been able to get any help yet.  Can you help

    I would suggest using the no charge e-mail support for Windows Update problems. When you send the support request, be sure to include the details, such as the full error message, at what point the error occurs, what update you are trying to install, etc.

  • I have ended up getting help from APAC Global Consumer Support - Microsoft Australia & new Zealand Online Technical Support via http://support.microsoft.com.  This has resolved the problem with very helpful guidance from their technicians.
