UAG 2010 and MS Security Essentials AV Protection Access RRS feed

    Thank you for reading this post, I wonder if anyone can help me.

    My user is using a Win 7 Device with MS Security Essentials installed working and up to date. They list the computer and it has Microsoft Security Essentials, fully up-to-date, and Windows Defender is running (as part of Windows 7 in the background) and Windows Firewall is also online. There are no additional pieces of security software nor internet toolbars, extensions, add-ons, etc. I can remotely access other firms remote systems (webmail, Citrix, MS Direct Access) without a hitch.

    We have UAG 2010, and one of our rules is that uploading must have AV protection. My user is getting binned off as I feel there MS SE is not listed in the Endpoint default Windows AV Policy.


    Why is it that MS SE is not listed, how do I get it listed, or do I recommend another AV Client?
