Compare with Major Version RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I have a question about "Compare with major version".

Let's say we have 3 major versions of a word document: 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 (current version).

I have the document opened (version 3.0) and type something down but not save. If I choose "Compare with major version", to which version should the current document be compared? To 2.0 or 3.0 (since there are some unsaved changes made on 3.0)?

    Thank you,

    Raluca

  • Hi,

Per my test, if I have 3 major versions of a word document: 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 (current version).

I opened (version 3.0) document and type something down but not save. If I choose "Compare with major version",  the current document would be compared with 2.0 version.

    Best Regards,
