  • Question

  • My organization will deploy system center 2012 in the next couple of months.  We do not have any current installation of system center or central management system.  We do however have a 3-node Windows 2012 Hyper-V environment.  I understand that system center may require each component installed on a separate server.

Can any or all components be virtualized?

Is it best practice to have some or all components on bare metal servers?

  • Hi Jason,

All the System Center products in the stack are supported as virtual machines. Just be sure to check out TechNet and meet or exceed the resource requirements.
