    Trying to install/configure AD FS in a farm on Windows 2012 R2. Setup NLB on 2 server. Trying to connect to a SQL cluster. After supplying all the necessary accounts and SQL path, get to the option to configure AD FS and in begins establishing connection with the SQL database and shortly after stops with an error, Access is denied.

    Not sure where else to look to resolve this error. Any ideas?

    Can you share a screenshot or some logs?

    What permission do you have on the SQL instance?
