End user recovery & Hyper-V backup RRS feed

  • Question

  • Probably clutching at strews here but...... is it possible to use end user recovery when the file server is backed up as a hyper-v guest?

    Cheers

  • Hey Zak,

If I understand it correctly... If you are having a virtual file server, and if you are having the file server protected from within the guest, then yes this is possible.  If you mean that you only protect it through the host (meaning the complete VM protected) then no, it's not possible
