"(+) Office 365 Installer" button is not available in Office 365 Client Management dashboard RRS feed

  • Question

  • \Software Library\Overview\Office 365 Client Management

Down the right side I see, "Create an ADR" and "Create Client Settings".  I am missing the "Office 365 Installer" button that is shown in the image below.  I am running SCCM CB 1610 with Hotfix (version 5.00.8458.1520). I do have one client with the software manually installed, shown in second image.  I have the Office 365 Client updates selected to come through in Software Update Point.  I just am missing the button.

    Please help!

  • That screenshot/video was done using a technical preview and the feature in question has not made it into a production build.

  • Well, crap.  I didn't catch that they may have been using a Technicial Preview.  Any insight on when that is slated for release?  We're looking to roll out Office 365 ProPlus and Windows 10 this summer.  My building and testing has begun.

  • Maybe this is coming with the 1702 Release, which will come in the next days...

  • I had noticed that we are 4 months from 1610 so I was hoping that 1702 was going to be a full release and soon!  I would like this feature and the ability to modify the Upgrade task sequence messages as the TP has.

  • Yep, 1702 is getting closer (not sure if it'll actually be called 1702 anymore though). Until a build is ready, no one really knows what's going to be in each version.
