Need help with site synch RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear All,

I found this error when opening event viewer:

failure trying to synch site bf6a9599-9609-471f-b877-4ca4e41bcc1a for ContentDB 7fe5bccd-095f-47e3-a4e6-9332d96183b7 WebApp 3cd32929-48c1-4798-be16-d74e729c1414. Exception message was Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.UserMemberships' with unique index 'CX_UserMemberships_RecordId_MemberGroupId_SID'.
    The statement has been terminated..

I have searched the internet and found a viable solutions mentioned in http://monthlymoss.blogspot.com/2007/11/here-is-issue-that-i-came-across-that.html

The blog suggested me to reattach the database that caused the problem (I have found the GUID), so I executed this command from sharepoint 2010 management shell:

    stsadm -o preparetomove -contentdb <mydatabaseservername>:<thecontentdatabasename> -site <mysite>

The thing is, it always return error message "Missing operation name or the operation name is invalid" even though I followed the syntax from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262122%28office.12%29.aspx

I think it ties with the error in SharePoint health analyzer that I also encountered:

[MissingSiteDefinition] 1 Sites in database [thecontentdatabasename] has reference(s) to a missing site definition, Id = [75818], Lcid = [1033].  The site definitions with Id 75818 is referenced in the database [thecontentdatabasename], but is not installed on the current farm. The missing site definition may cause upgrade to fail. Please install any solution which contains the site definition and restart upgrade if necessary.
[MissingFeature] Database [thecontentdatabasename] has reference(s) to a missing feature: Id = [d93cb042-ddd7-a278-db66-45a5785ab9a4]. The feature with Id d93cb042-ddd7-a278-db66-45a5785ab9a4 is referenced in the database [thecontentdatabasename], but is not installed on the current farm. The missing feature may cause upgrade to fail. Please install any solution which contains the feature and restart upgrade if necessary.

Does anyone have a clue on what should I do?

    Thank you in advanced.

    Regards,

    Victor
