Lync Anonymous response group transfer to Exchange UM voicemail fails to complete RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am having an issue with my Lync 2010/Exchange 2010 environment.  Both Lync and Exchange are at the current patch rev.  I have an anonymous response group for my operator.  She gets a call through the anonymous group and is unable to transfer the call to another Lync user's voicemail.  She can transfer the call to the user, but not the UM voicemail.  If I change the group to non anonymous, she can transfer to the user's voicemail.  Is there an autoattendant, or response group setting I am missing, or is this by design that Anonymous response groups are unable to transfer calls straight to Exchange UM voicemail?

  • Hi,

It is designed. If you enable agent anonymity, you can not transfer the call to user's voicemail. Maybe consider that the Monitoring server can not monitor who transfer the call when enabling agent anonymity.
