Set legend in Resource Availability Assignment Work by Project to NOT check any of the projects by default RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I know that under Resource Availability Assignment Work by Project, you are not able to filter by active projects, but is there a way to set the legend to NOT check any of the projects that come up as the default. At least that way we could select the projects that are active only instead of having to unselect the many, many, many projects that are not active?

  • Hi,

I am sorry to tell that there is no way to achieve this.

You could only think to create a report, displaying this information. With just using OLAP data, it is quite simple to create based on OLAP Portfolio Analyzer (report template for cub). But it will not reflect any permission for the logon user. Here a quick sample with filter on a project level field:

Or you create a Reporting Services Reporting. With adding WebService calls to the server, you could implement also the permission model.

    Perhaps an option for you?
