Cannot reinstall Creator 2010 under Windows 7 Ultimate RRS feed

  • Tried to reinstall Creator 2010 but continue to get an install interruption and rollback of install and a failure to get the program installed.  Tried all the solutions Roxio and forums have suggested but nothing seems to work.

    Trying to install in Gateway FX6840, Intel (R) Core (TM)  i7 CPU, s87 @ 2.93GHz and 8GB RAM

    Would appreciate your suggestions

  • I use Roxio 2010 fine.

    Try uninstalling it and then reinstall. If that fails you may have a deeper problem with Windows.

     


    My MVP is for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 IT, and I am getting increasingly good with Visual Studio.

    From the description, I notice the it is most likely the Roxio issue. I suggest post a new thread on Roxio Forum to ensure the issue can be addressed in the most efficient way.
