MS Project 2013 Ribbon and Supertip Question RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have created a new tab on the ribbon manually (Customize this ribbon) and added several buttons with macros behind them.  Is there anyway to assign a screentip and/or supertip to these buttons that can be rolled into the Global Master?  I know that I can do it with XML and some VBA code but the code would have to run every time project is opened.  I was hoping to be able to find a way to do it so code would not have to run every time.   I believe you can do it with a custom file on the client PC but I do not want to have to distribute a file around the world every time I add or change a button.  Perhaps something like the way I did it in Project 2007:

     Set cButton = Application.CommandBars("Toolbar Name").Controls(1)
     With cButton
.TooltipText = "Enter Tool Tip Here"
     End With

Run once and you are good to go.

    Any help would be appreciated!
