UAG DirectAccess- How to find the conntetion end / How to find log entries about end of connetions? RRS feed

  • Hello,

    on (only) some clients the DA-connetion after some hours (sometimes only minutes) will be lost and not reestablished. After dis- + reconnecting the LAN/WLAN-connection DA reconnect directly and everything is fine for next hours (or minutes).

    How I'm able to find the moment were the client lost the connection so that I have a chance to find out whats going on in this moment on this notebook (energysafeings or...).

    Any idea how to catch ?

  • Hi Berleg,

    are you using DirectAccess with the UAG? If so, you can use the "Logs&Reports" section of the TMG to see when a DirectAccess session has ended (see screenshot for filter-settings). Whereas it only logs the time, when the session ends on the UAG.

    It may differs from the exact time the Clients lost its connection, but it possibly helps to localize the point of time.

    I actually do not know a way to see this Information on the client itself.
