How can I configure my AD MA in a single-labeled Active Directory Domain RRS feed

    Though it is not recommended though implement a single-labeled AD domain environment and it is unclear whether Microsoft will continue supported this type of configuration, it is also a reality that some organisations did implement this type of infrastructure. By default, the AD MA has problems connecting to this type of domain. To overcome this problem, implement the following registry keys:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters]
    "AllowSingleLabelDnsDomain"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\DNSClient]
    "UpdateTopLevelDomainZones"=dword:00000001
