Want to capture image of windows 2008 server using standard server Task sequence RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    Please let me know how can i capture image of windows 2008 server in MDT 2013. my file and printer server is corrupted. so i want to capture the its image with all user data and c drive data. Is it possible to capture its image using standard server Task sequence? -Thank you in advance

    Yes you can. The same way you do it with a client OS.

  • Dear Per Larsen,

    Unfortunately, USMT does not work  on Windows Server 2003 or 2008 to migrate Terminal  servers. If not what is the best method to use? Could you please let me know

  • Hi

    On a Terminal server I will always use Roaming Profiles.

    And on server 2012 I will use profiling disk.
