We have a file share on a server 2008 domain controller. This file share in under a folder called USERS. I also have our domain set up to have all My Documents redirected to this Users folder. I have another server 2008 machine in another city that is set
up to sink this file share with our remote office via DFS. We noticed as of last month that user running Windows 7 are not viewing the proper information on the file share. All the Windows XP pro users can see the information just fine. EX. User
A on a Windows XP Pro machine will open a Xcel file template that we use to create contracts for farmers and will save as a farmers name in the file share on the server 2008 server. User A then begans to enter information in this contract so
the accounting Dept. can pay the farmer for the product they hauled in. The accounting department opens the same xcel file on the 2008 file server with their Windows 7 Pro machines and office 2007 and they do not see any info entered into the Xcel sheet.
All the permission are set to wide open. And all domain users have full controll on this file share on the server. You can go to another XP Pro mahcine and pull up the same file and they can see the new typed info that User A just put in. All XP
machines are running Office 2003 and all Windows 7 machines are running Office 2007.
