can multipul users recive an alert set on a group calender RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a few users using outlook 2003, and i am running exchange 2003.  I have created a group email account for them.  This group email is assigned to a user account and other users have full control over the mailbox.  Is it possible and if so how can a user set an appointment on the "group/shared" calender and have the alert/reminder populate to all users accessing that calender/mail box???   I know it can be done with setting the "to:" field with all user emails, just wondering if the alerts are pushed to user accounts specifically or to the mailboxes.

  • No.

You only get alerts on your primary mailbox.

There are various third party utilities that can do the alerting for you, but natively it isn't possible.
