Word Review Track Changes Question RRS feed

  • Question

  • In Word Review Track Changes, when I want to correct a letter or word, when I delete a letter or word, instead of Word typing a line through the letter or word and highlighting it in red, placing the corrected letter or word to the right, instead Word moves the incorrect letter or word to a Comment on the right.  What remains in the main text are missing letters or words.  It started happening yesterday afternoon.   Can you correct this for me?

    Thank you,

    Buck Ewing

Generally, as you said, Word will type a line through the letter or word and highlighting it in red, placing the corrected letter or word to the right when we delete a letter or word and correct it with Review Track Changes enable:

    >> instead Word moves the incorrect letter or word to a Comment on the right.  What remains in the main text are missing letters or words.

Is it like this shown in the following screenshot?
