Cannot wakeup system more than once after boot RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm in trouble with my htpc (Win 7 ultimate x64, ASUS mobo), which isn't able to wake up for multiple dvb-t live recordings in a row after a cold boot.

System can go into (hybrid)sleep without any apparent problems, and the wakeup appears to be very good, both with powerbutton and with scheduled wake timers.

After the first wake up (that runs as expected, having the request fulfilled perfectly), I can let the system going back to sleep.

But, the following wake up has to be done by pressing the power button, because the timers aren't heard.

I've done a lot of tests with power profiles and with devices, but as far as I've seen everything is fine (and I think the first wake up demonstrates it).

    What else can I check?

    Thank you

  • I suggest you disconnect that DVD-T Live TV device and test if the issue persists. This may help you narrow down the issue.
