Lync 2010 Out of Office status - how? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

One of our user left the company 6 month ago. The AD account was blocked.

I have seen that status in Lync client for this user was Offline for xxx days since then.

Last week it changed to Out of Office for 3 days.

The AD account is still disable, lastLogon and lastLogon Timestamp are correct (set to six months ago) and have been check on all DCs.

    How it's possible?

From where Lync takes this information who was signing in?

The user wasn't able to connect via Exchange or OWA because his account is still disable.

What is a difference between "Offline" and "Out of office"?

    Regards
