Event Id 5783, Synchronization for Shared Services Provider 'SSP' has failed. The operation will be retried. RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    In Share Point 2007 farm, we are facing below issue. Its not causing any issue to the users, still it is occurring for 10min in the event viewer of Application server. User profile import is happening.

    Farm details: 1 SQL 2005 server, 1 Application and 1WFE server with MOSS 2007 SP1. OS 2003 64bit.

    Event ID: 5783, Source: Office Share Point server

    Description:

    Synchronization for Shared Services Provider 'SSP' has failed. The operation will be retried.

    Reason: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.

    Which is causing problem in occurring this warning in the Event viewer. Any solutions to stop this?

  • Hi Pratik,

     

    Thanks for the reply. I went through the link, and did the same. All commands executed successfully, but warnings are still coming. Same 5783 warning is occurring for every 10mins.

    stsadm -o sync -listolddatabases 1 is listing no databases, which says all are in sync. Its crazy why the event viewer showing same warning.

    How to stop these warnings?
