  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there a way in to identy whether or not a discussion has has mixed topics in it and what is the reason? Does SP uses "References" in the email header to group messages together? If so, how would I track that down to determine whether or not it wasn't something with SP that these mixed of subjects got group in to one discussion?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Sorry that I don’t understand the “mixed topics” in your post, did you mean the different content types in Discussion board? By default, there are two content types in the discussion board: Discussion and Message. When you reply a discussion, the content type of the reply is Message.

If I misunderstand you, could you please explain your issue more detailed?

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • anyone has any idea? We have a discussion board where we see different topics merged into one discussion. I'm curious to know what the process is in determining new/existing topic.
