Google Chrome and Project Server 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

One of my clients prefer using Google Chrome to access Project Server and we told them yes, that it can be done based on SP1 installation of course. They have the very latest version of Chrome, but it still doesn't seem to work. Project Centre web part cannot be rendered properly with error saying it requires IE 7 at least.

Any ideas or PS2010 still cannot be accessed via Chrome?

    Thanks

    SJ

  • Only the home page and 'team member'  pages are supported in chrome, safari, etc.

The team member pages that are supported with these additional browsers include the following:

    • Project Web App (PWA) main default page (default.aspx)

    • All pages in the "My Work" section in the Quick Launch. This includes the following:

      • Tasks

      • Timesheets

      • Issues and Risks

  • Ahh I see!

Well that is not very helpful at all MSFT!

Never mind. Thanks for your quick response Brian. Much appreciated.

  • Well it is a huge amount more helpful compared to what was supported in non-IE browswers before. :-)
