Outlook 2016 returns "No Results" after searching

    I know this is a problem that many people have had in the past, but none of the fixes that I have found have fixed it. I can search from something I know is in there (say the sender of the any email near the top of the index), and "No Results" is returned. Indexing is not occurring, as it says that it has completed when we run the search.

    We have tried rebuilding the index, turning windows search on and off, and checking to make sure that the indexing options are properly selected. Cannot figure out what is causing this issue. We recently installed Kaspersky Small Office Security, but the issue had cropped up before the install so it is most likely not the cause.

    Does anyone have any more thoughts on this problem? It severely hampers our ability to get work done.
