I have received frequent warning alert from my DPM server, But while checking in DPM console the agent state shown as Ok. RRS feed

  • Question

  • The DPM protection agent on "client server " could not be contacted. Subsequent protection activities for this computer may fail if the connection is not established. The attempted contact failed for the following reason: (ID: 3122)
The agent operation failed because DPM was unable to identify the computer account for "clinet server". (ID: 318)

    Thanks,

Answers

  • Hi,

DPM performs an agent query every 30 minutes, so if it has intermittent problems contacting the agent on that server, that would lead to the alert.
