Visual Studio Bids

Question
-
Hi,
I am messing with some BIDS projects and when I try to close a project Visual Studio locks up on me. I've got to go to Task Manager to get rid of it. This seems to have occured about the same time McAfee was installed on our network, but I can't say that is the problem. I don't show having any viruses. Anybody got any idea what I can do to fix this?
Thanks

If you are using SQL 2005 I had a similar problem. The problem went away when I upgraded XP, SQL Server and Visual Studio to the latest service packs. This included Visual Studio service pack 1 as follows; - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=BB4A75AB-E2D4-4C96-B39D-37BAF6B5B1DC&displaylang=en

Hi Kieran,
Actually I am using VS 2008 Developer edition. I have moved on to something else so I don't know if its still happening or not. I'll check and get back to you.
Thanks
