If I do not specify an AD account to use as the Client Push account will the SCCM Site Server's account be used instead? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have some security folks who are not too fond of the idea of adding accounts like this to the local admins group on client systems, but are okay with having the SCCM Site Server's computer account do it once I add it to the local admins group on client systems.

I know in SCCM 2007 the Site Server's account would be used as a fallback if there was no AD account used for Client Push and it even stated that in the Client Push section, but I no longer see this in SCCM 2012 so I am wondering if the Site Server's account is not used anymore as a fallback for Client Push.

    Thanks
