Will emails come to inbox to the inbox of a user if we disable all mailbox features of that user in Exchange Server 2013

  • Hello everyone,

    I have a question about Exchange Server 2013.The question is if i disable all the mailbox features of a mailbox and also if i disable that user in Active directory then would the emails deliver to the inbox of that user mailbox.

  • Hi,

    Quick answer is YES until the account is removed, deleted or mailbox is full, you can do the testing with a test user or less critical user, email will be delivered to this account. if you disable AD account it will continue receiving email. When you remove it from Exchange then it will stop getting email.
