Does anyone know the protocol for viewing jpeg2000 photos in the Windows 10 environment. Photo Viewer says it does not support the file type. Is there a resident app in Windows for this?
You may try IrfanView. There are a number of applications which can also open JP2 files.

You could change default photo app in Windows. Please follow the steps in the link below.

Also you could try to use some third party photo software to support JPEG format.
