Random false positives when publishing reports to SSRS 2017 with RS.EXE RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to publish reports to SQL Server Reporting Services 2017 running in Windows 2016 Server Standard using RS.EXE but Windows Defender is randomly preventing this by detecting Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.A!cl in the temporary executable (e.g. C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\wrhhe50-.exe) that RS generates during the publishing process.

How can I prevent this or workaround this issue?
