I had an existing asp.net web site which consists of a number of aspx pages which capture information from a user and write the data to a sql database.
I migrated the sql database to azure and modified the connection string in the web.config to point to the sql azure database instance and tested the web site and it worked fine (after I had put a firewall rule into sql azure for my web server)
Now I created a Windows Azure web site and published my website to the new azure website using ftp
Expected it to just work... since it already has the right connection string for the sql azure database in teh web.config
Instead I get teh internal server error.
I looked in the formum and found mention of putting in a firewall rule in sql to allow conections from 0.0.0.0 for azure but when I try to put such a rule in... it gives an error and tells me to use the allow azure services... but that is already turned
I'm stuck !
Any Clues on what I need to do to get it working ?
