  • Question

  • Hello, I'm looking to find out if Windows 7 Supports Cluster Computing?

I am trying to get a project i call "Satellite" up and going but... it requires anything between a Super computer or a Beowulf cluster. i already know that windows server supports it to some extent, but i need the use of windows vista/7 for this project; for reasons that this is more for the public personal use than a coporate level program.

I have searched all over the internet, but alas i have begun to feel like the only solution i have left is to create a specialized node system compatible with windows 7.

  • This is an online forum provided by Microsoft about their product "Microsoft Project" and really nothing to do with supercomputing  You'll have better luck with your question if you re-post in a more appropriate forum. See http://www.microsoft.com/communities/forums/default.mspx or search via Google and/or Bing.

(That being said I did a Google on "windows 7 cluster computing Beowulf" and found some interesting links.)
