missing data wizard can be run against my views in 6.3 RRS feed

  • CAn we run missing data wizard against my views on 6.3 Desktop professional. other than changing Favorites information on PAS database.Please let me know.

  • No, there is not MDW functionality for My Views.  I've been pondering ways to get around this limitation recently.  You might try going back to the My Views you had before you changed your cube (this might require a copy of the old cube as well), and move the views into books.  Then, you could save the books and reopen them while pointed at the new changed cube.  You then might be able to make MDW changes, save them, and then get the views back into My Views if you want. 

    There is a known issue with My Views in pre-SP2 builds of ProClarity.  The necessary data for MDW functionality was not properly written to the views.  This may hinder your efforts if the views were made in pre-SP2 builds.  Another way around this is to rebuild your views using the latest SP before attempting the suggestion above.
