Creating a bootable disk RRS feed

  • Question

  • My son gave me a Windows 7 computer for XMAS which was preloaded. After the fact I discovered I was supposed to create a boot disk. How can that be done as this was back in January 2010? Any suggestions would be surely welcomed.

  • Hello Peter

Have a look in Start > All Programs for an entry that refers to your laptop, e.g. Dell, Acer, etc. Within that group there may be an entry named ‘Create Windows disk’ or similar wording. Click on it and follow the prompts to create a DVD.
