Project Server 2010 backup RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm preparing a SQL Server 2008 Maintenance Plan with the Wizard.

    I selected the 5 databases:

    • Archive
    • Draft
    • Published
    • Reporting
    • SharePoint_Config

Is it enough to get a the whole backup of Project Server 2010? Did I miss something?

    Thanks

    Hi WLID1966,

follow the article to take the backup of your complete Project Server 2010 farm through Central Admin:

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd207303.aspx

OR If you want to take the backup from SQL, take the bakcup of the following databases:

    • Draft database
    • Published database
    • Archive database
    • Reporting database
    • Content database (Content DB of WebApp hosting PWA OR if your PWA content db resides in a seperate content DB then take backup of that DB)
    Hope it answers your query.
