Windows 8 Wi-Fi Unavailability RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Windows 8 laptop (I installed Windows 8 manually about a month ago from Windows 7). It was working fine up until yesterday when I attempted to use the internet. I took a look at the Wi-Fi settings, and the Wi-Fi switch was turned off shaded out and I couldn't click on it to turn it back on. It was telling me it was 'Unavailable'. It still says this, and I am at a loss as top how to resolve this issue. Does anybody know how to fix this, by chance?

    2. Chech your access point (beeter with another working operating system

    3. If nothing helps, reset winsock with netsh function from elevated command prompt.
