using multiple iframes in single page - Async Loading RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi All,

I have a clasic proglbem. I have created single page application. on click of menu each new page is loaded in an iframe.

Everything is working perfectly. However recently I discovered an Issue that if any single page hangs in the server whipe performing the operation, each other iframe waits for that page to complete the opertion before I can do anything in any other open Iframe.

Because of this issue if one page hangs my whole website gets haged. Reason I found is that each iframe in the webpage shares same connection pool.

Can anyone suggest some solution this Problem?

  • for questions about html, css and scripting for website developers please post to the MSDN Web Development forum with a link to your website or mashup that shows the issue. Also include the versions of IE that you have tested on.

the behavior of the defer attribute differs in different IE versions. At http://connect.microsoft.com/ie you can search the bug reports for known and resolved issues with iframes.

there is one there that I posted for iframes using scr="" and then injecting markup with script... that's the wrong way to do it.

anyway post to the appropriate forum.... thanks for your understanding.
