Faulting application svchost.exe... faulting module rasmans.dll_unloaded

For god knows what reason, ever since I installed SP1 on my Vista Ultimate, the Host Process keeps crashing for the same reason. I can't seem to get a grip on what's causing it, as I'm using an ATI card, and not an NVidia one, but it seems as though SP1 has issues with my 2900HD just as much as it does with NVidia's cards.
I have no clue what rasmans.dll does, but I'm guessing it's somehow related to my display drivers, as it causes the Vista theme to disappear and display the "raw" skin with no visuals, including for buttons on websites. Resetting the computer does not good, as the process fails again afterwards.
I was very very happy with my Vista installation up until SP1 came out, and I was so happy and eager to install the SP, expecting to finally be able to enjoy a normal copying process between my computers, but now, I am THIS close to going back to XP, and dumping Vista altogether. The nifty Start menu with its built-in search and whatnot are not worth the pain and anger I get from my Vista.
Anyways, this wasn't meant to be a rant. All I want is for Vista to work, and I read somewhere here int this forum, that if I post the content of the process error, someone from MSFT will actually take a look at it and perhaps even offer a solution.
So, with that in mind, I'm hoping to get at least some feedback on the below error. Search Google only came up with 3 websites, out of which 2 were in Rusian, and one was this site, so I'm hoping my luck will change from this point on...

Same problem here. But the error is slightly intermittent (once every 10-15 reboots, I see no error).
Also, I cannot do a clean restart/shutdown after getting this error. I've waited for 20 minutes at the logging off/shut down screen before performing a hard reset.Friday, June 20, 2008 2:57 AM -
I fixed this on my machine by installing a patch from Symantic that put the reg back to the correct state after installing and Endpoint.. which we have found to be a POS.

I do not have Symantec Endpoint installed. So, I doubt this applies to me.
And in any case, the registry values indicated in the Symantec page are the same as what I see in my registry. So the fix probably won't change anything.Saturday, June 21, 2008 7:20 PM
