Move Data and Settings always shows up in a Task RRS feed

I haven't a clue where that Offline User State Capture is being set to true. Where else could I look?

  • Try removing USMTOfflineMigration=False from the customsettings.ini file. Looking at the default client task sequence I can see the following Options condition under Preinstall > Offline User State Capture folder:

    Task sequence variable USMTOfflineMigration TRUE

The condition is if that task sequence variable exists, not if it equals true or false. So, as long as the USMTOfflineMigration variable exists at all, that task sequence step will be run.

You could also disable that step in the task sequence or change the condition as you see fit.

    Regards,

    Darren
