Secutity problem? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. My workstation at home is running Windows Vista Ultimate and is joined to a domain. The domain controller is running Windows 2003 Standard. It runs AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS and other services. The two XP workstations here exibit none of the following symptoms but the Vista workstation does exibit the following problems:

Windows Media Center: Guide Server error Code 34

Windows update: error 80072F8F (the time is correct, and updates from WSUS work OK)
Internet connectivity tool: UPnP not supported, all else supported.
Some https web sites including Live Id do not function correctly

No related errors that I can find in the event log.

I have a workstation at work running windows vista business with none of these problems. The server there is configured the same.

    Is this a security issue?
