Skype for Business SQL Database

Question
-
My group is planning a Skype for Business 2015 Enterprise deployment and we are trying to figure an accurate amount of SQL space to request. We just want to make sure that what we ask will suffice so there are no major issues when eventually deploying. If you can provide any help that would be greatly appreciated.Wednesday, October 11, 2017 4:58 PM

This is going to very greatly upon how many users you have and their expected usage. You can try using something like this (https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/Lync-File-Share-and-06f79528) to get some very rough ideas.

Hi curiousgeorge76,
Agree with Tyler.
You could use Skype for Business Server 2015 Capacity Planning Calculator to accurate another hardware to request.
How to use the Capacity Calculator Tool? You could refer to the following link.

If you have feedback for TechNet Subscriber Support, contact tnmff@microsoft.comThe capacity planner does not go into database sizing. Have YOU used the capacity planner? This is not the correct answer.
