Print Slide Numbers in PowerPoint 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to print the number next to each slide in Powerpoint 2010?

I have tried checking the Page Number box under Print > Edit Header and Footer  but they do not show up.

  • Hi Slash,

Based on my test, we can't print slide numbers without displayed in slide. We can just hide the number in normal times, and show them before printing.

  • Hi,

From your description, my understanding is that you want to print the slide number in PowerPoint 2010. We can select the "Slide Number" option under the Slide tab. (On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Slide Number.)

  • I am able to add slide numbers to the slides but I don't want them to actually display on the slide.

I only want the slide numbers to show when I print out the slides.
