Windows server 2008 / Expiring * certificate RRS feed

    Hi folks, 

    I have a client environment that has several servers. Now I've come across that their *.organization.com certificate is expiring.

    I need to find out which servers are using this certificate, is there a tool or a way to find this out easily? Bear in mind that I'm complete beginner on certification side. 

    Moreover in which cases is the old CSR used, is the best practice to create new CSR?

    Use dir Cert:\LocalMachine\My in powershell.

    Both of them are OK. If the old CSR is created several years ago and the key length is short, you may create a new CSR.
