MDT: install WSUS in 1 go? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'd like to install WSUS on a Windows 2008 R2 server in 1 go (MDT).
    The KB  I have, also configuration of WSUS30-KB972455-x64 (WSUS30-KB972455-x64.exe /q CONTENT_LOCAL=1 CONTENT_DIR=E:\WSUS DEFAULT_WEBSITE=0 CREATE_DATABASE=1)

    WSUS30-KB972455-x64
    WSUS-KB2734608-x64
    WSUS-KB2720211-x64

How to get them to install in 1 application (WSUS)?

    Please advise.
    J.

  • You can create an application bundle of all of the packages, or install them in a script.

    Start-Process -Wait -FilePath powershell -ArgumentList WSUS30-KB972455-x64.exe /q CONTENT_LOCAL=1 CONTENT_DIR=E:\WSUS DEFAULT_WEBSITE=0 CREATE_DATABASE=1"
    # Install updates
    Start-Process -Wait -FilePath powershell -ArgumentList WSUS-KB2720211-x64 /q
