SCCM 2012 - problem installing client

Question

Hello,
I've deployed SCCM 2012 RC, and have problem with deploying clients. Whatever I do, whichever method of deployment I try, I get following errors in ccmsetup.log file:
<![LOG[GetHttpRequestObjects failed for verb: 'GET', url: 'HTTPS://NYC-SVR2.Contoso.com/CCM_Client/ccmsetup.cab']LOG]!><time="10:07:22.100-60" date="11-15-2011" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="3" thread="2084" file="ccmsetup.cpp:5276">
<![LOG[DownloadFileByWinHTTP failed with error 0x80004005]LOG]!><time="10:07:22.100-60" date="11-15-2011" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="3" thread="2084" file="ccmsetup.cpp:5536">
I tried to open this URL in IE, and it opens. Also, I checked security permissions, and IIS settings, all seem to be fine. Firewall is not enabled. Does anyone have idea what can be wrong? Thanks in advance.

I've been able to successfully deploy the SCCM 2012 client. I'm not sure why this is a requirement but a client certificate was required on the workstation. After installing a personal computer certificate, the SCCm 2012 client deployed immediately.

Damir,
I'm having the same trouble.
Further review of my log indicates that it is certificate /ssl related.
Finding certificate by issuer chain returned error 80092004
GetSSLCertificateContext failed with error 0x87d00280
Everything looks in order with my SSL certificates, but I may not be looking in the right place.
I have a customer who was considering SCCM 2007 R3 but with the buzz around 2012, they want to see a demo. I don't have access to the connect site as I never expected to be part of the beta for this product.

How do I go about installing the certificate on a client? Any basic instructions would help.Wednesday, June 12, 2013 9:56 PM

Did you check the pre-requisites on your server + your clients ?
Did your clients use to work with SCCM-2007 or 2012 before ? What about your unique SITE CODE ? Did you use it before ?
Check the Microsoft prequesite ?
