Internet explorer 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear sir,
It's some weeks that my country has filtered internet. I use socks , but when I want to enter its address in the address bar, I should write: ''https://www.facebook.com''    and if I write ''www.facebook.com'', it does not bring the face book page, first I like to know why? and then I like to know how I can set the internet explorer in a way that automatically add ''https://''to the beginning of each address I write in the address bar?????
and second I like to know that what is https and why that happens?

Moreover after I updated my IE 9 to IE 10, even if you add https to the beginning of the www.facebook.com, it does not bring the page, but other browsers bring it... this is while I could bring it before I update to IE 10 (it means IE 9 worked by adding https).....Why????

  • hi,

Firstly, we need to check the following:

1.What was the exact error message when accessing the website failed?
2.How about other websites? Do they also meet the same issue?
3.If there is a computer on the same network, please check if it also meets this issue.

Please try the following to check the issue:
     1.Reset Internet Explorer settings
1.Disable the security software temporarily and see if it works; and also check it with clean boot:
How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista
    Hope this helps.
