    Hi All,

    We have setup App-V full infrastructure. 

    Infrastructure details as below

    SQL 2008 R2 - on Cluster 

    App-v Server 4.5 SP2  --- 3 Servers linked via BIG IP address

    App-V Client 4.6 Sp3 - 40K users

    IIS 6.0.

    Protocol used - RTSP for publishing and HTTP for Streaming.

    My Queries:-

    * How to monitor App-V Components by its availability and performance  along with DB.  

    *How the Communication happens / monitored between management server and database- 

    * Availability of the App_V management server 

    * Time of data transfer between management and sql server

    Appreciate your quick response.

    SCOM, write your own scripts and there's also some general benchmarking software out there...at that, the SCOM Management Pack for that version of App-V is pretty old, I'd bet. There's a new Management pack for App-V 5.0 available for SCOM 2012...

    There's also SCOM Management Packs for monitoring the health of your clusters too.
