Silent Installation of Drivers? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

I am working on a silent powershell installation for an application called Mission Planner.  The MSI installation is able to be silenced with the "/qn" switch, but will still bring up a separate window for installation of the drivers.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way of silencing/automating driver installations.

  • Disable the driver verification property.

You should not be installing unsigned drivers or kernel mode drivers.  They will always cause issues in modern versions of Windows.

Contact the vendor for an updated version of the software.

  • Your post has nothing to do with the question.  The question is being asked about an installer and not about how to update anything.  Please take the time to read the question more carefully.
